How can god speak with no mouth?
As a little girl, I was told in Sunday school that god had no beginning and will have no end. Try to figure that one out. Personally I think they just misspelled the word good over and over ...Like they say "God is Good," Literally!
Just imagine how different life would be if the first sentence of the Bible was And Good Created the heavens and the earth.

How could anybody understand the concept of evolution two thousands years ago?
Holy books are written in such a way to be understood by the cultural / scientific level of those times.
Apart from the religious inspiration they were written by humans of those times, after all.

The people who take scriptures figuratively have a way of twisting and distorting the verses. Just the way lawyers do to the laws. So by applying figurative interpretation they can add almost anything to the scriptures which is never mentioned in it explicitly.

A) No. Evolution is the invention of Darwin. Yet, although towards the end of his life he wrote an essay in which he basically trashed his own theory, many people still stick to it - determined to be Ape descendents. What you gonna do? You can take the just can't take the monkey out of some people!!

Ha ha ha... I liked your impression... "Talkative stage"... :) Actually he was all the same back then... However, in those old days it was much more easier to convince mess amounts of people that God does actually talk to you... All major religions are synthesis of various legends, pantheons and beliefs of Ancient Egypt, Sumers and other local cultures.
