Animate: a bird such as a kestrel or hawk. They are so pretty and so free. they get to travel all over and get a great view whilst they do it!
Inanimate: water (ie, in a stream/river) I'd get to travel all over the word, meet things that lived in me or took a swim in me, see so much. (the down side would be if i ended up in toilet or somewhere...but hey, there are downsides to everything! lol

I would say a male lion. It would be great to be the only male surrounded by a bunch of females in his pride that he could choose to mate with at any time. Spend the day being lazy, just laying around doing nothing until the females make a kill so you can eat. Being that big and powerful would be great. Such a beautiful animal too.

i'd like to be a dolphin. they are really f'n smart. as intellegent as humans. (well depending on your definition of intellence) but they communicate with each other using a language in SONAR, they get to swim real fast through the ocean. it's like flying to them. (i was gonna say bird cause i'd like to fly but swimming underwater with the ability to breathe under water is just as good)
Dolphins can jump out of the water too. we all saw this at seaworld. that would be fun chasing a boat going 30 knots and the boat is full of topless women and they're....nevermind, i digress...lol...

A cat in a loving families' house - it just seems so nice to lie around the house and not do much except for eating and sleeping.

A`seagull - flight is such an enviable skill. Seagulls are also cheeky, bold opportunists that seem to have no fear. I'm also quite fond of seafood.
