I ask this question because the Gay and Lesbian section of Yahoo Answers seem to be full of hate at the moment....

I love me as that is the best way to be.
and my family love me they just don't understand me
this site seems to be worse then real life for hate
not that it bothers me
i have a thick skin under all of this make up

My family, my friends, apparently my goldfish (but thats debateable), my "non-defined no labelled boyfriend who is a friend and my sweetheart and the boy of my heart, my ex's who are still close (like second family).. and I do, love myself. (But not too much as in, I am not totally INTO myself, or UP myself, although I've heard somewhere that some people can contort themselves, wait, where was I?) LOL..

My partner, she is my love, my life...
My son, he is my flesh and blood, the most precious creation on the entire Earth.
My parents, I am grateful for their love, support, acceptance and guidence.
My sibling, as much as we don't get along, I still love him for being a good "big brother," He defended me, right or wrong, when growing up...and I for him. Even if we didn't always agree, we were and are still family.
My extended family, my Aunt and Uncle who have been part of my life and a great influence in my life. My cousins who are as close to me as my own brother. Being the baby of the family and the only girl, I felt I had seven "big brothers" watching out for me! My own private Irish Mafia!
My close friends who are my "family of choice."
No one gets to choose their family, but their friends who are very close and who influence your life, and who's lives you influence, who are loyal and patient are a family you actually do get to choose. I love them and I know I'm loved by them.

I have actually question myself about this alot lately.... who loves me truly??? The person who loves me for me is my fiance, my children love me innocently and without question, my parents love me for who the person that reflects them and carries on their life and my friends love me for all of my flaws (yes these are many). I "love myself" because I've come along way to become the person i am and i am proud of all of the things i have overcome to be happy within my own skin!!!! And I love your question!!!
