Depending on how you look for it. "Beauty is only skin deep"is a phrase that I hear allot, but it goes even deeper. It goes to the heart, soul, and the mind. The body is just a shell, the stuff that counts is on the inside. That is were the beauty is found.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is a definition, according to someone else. You may feel beautiful and project beautiful but it takes someone else to find you beautiful. If you are lucky enough to be classified as beautiful by someone you should be happy I guess. Beauty is only skin deep, however, so you need to have other things to fall back on, like a good personality. Beauty shouldn't be important, interactions with other living people is what counts. If you are over concerned with beauty you are vain and vanity is a sin if you ask me.

Hmmm.....I say beauty comes from a person who knows how to bring out the best in themselves in order to compliment the exterior of oneself.
That way, if you're an ungly duckling but you have all the personality in the world who knows how to evaluate your thoughts and manners as well as your traits will make a major diffrence from your exterior, but sadly, I do know some ugly duklings who are just plain ugly dep down, though they look like a million bucks.......the lesson is, try to know a person before judging anyone!

Beauty transcends time. It is dictated by one's self worth, depth of character, humility, integrity and one's name regardless of a person's physical frailties. It is something that no amount of expensive la mer creams can maintain, no amount of designer brands can cover up and lastly it cannot be judged through a weighing scale or a tape measure.

When you know about them personally and how they live their life, it is just not beautiful any more. They have to be pretty inside and outside. Most celebrities are ugly.
