It vaies according to where you live. In ths area of London its beteen 6 months and a year for initial consultation on the NHS. Treatment can take anything up to 4 years I understand xx

I am in Sunderland and from me first going to the doctors to going to see the consultant for the first time was 4 months but I think it depends on where you live.

Its not the initial waiting time that takes ages but all the countless appointments after that, it just seems to drag on and on. I wish I had had the money and gone private.

It will depend on where you live and what they try first. If you haven't already been to the doctor when you go tell them it has been longer than it has then you are further ahead. They will probably wait 6 months then try a course of clomid then send you to the hospitol. If you say its been 6 months you might get help straight away

the doctor told us after we had been tryin 4 a year then we could get an appointment, which we did, but the same day i got the appointment in the post, i did a test and it was positive.
