i have deleted almsot all of it however there is still 0.02 megs and when i try to install a different anti virus, it says i must remove all of norton, hoever the 0.02 left cannot be reomved, when i click remove nothing happens!

Instead of deleting the file, uninstall is the best option to remove a software programme completely. After uninstalling, you should restart your computed. If it still does not work, go to dos prompt and browse all the files in C Drive and then manually delete the virus file still left in the system.

Run ''Search'' type Norton, delete every thing that comes up. Run, type explorer, manually search for anything Norton, and manually delete. Reboot and try again. Failing that, sell the computer on eBay, and buy a new one.

Symantec web site have a remote search and destroy program, try that, too.

you may need to reboot your computer in safe mode to remove the erring program. in safe mode, you can delete the program folder there because the anti virus program will not be activated while in safe mode.

nooooooooooooooooooooooo...dont delete the folder...ur computer will be corrupted
u should uninstall it
dont go to add remevo porgrammes

put computer in safe mode first then c programme files and delete
norton is a pain to delete though
