Hi, I've been having gassiness problems for over a year now.
I've never counted, but it occurs more than 3 times every 5 minutes.
I've tried Beano, lactase, gasx, and acidophilus, with little to no results. After eating the acidophilus for 3 days, I've ended up with more gas the next day. I eat a little bit of wheat and sugar, and thats it. The pelvic area of my body is always aching, and during the night I have a strange feeling: I have the feeling I am passing gas, when I am not. My body makes weird noises during the night. I get the feeling near the rectum area, but no gas passes. I usually have less gas later in the day, but from I wake up to another couple hours, I have more than 3 passes per 5 minutes. What are all the possibilites? I've been to a clinic, and I've been referred to a GI specialist, but I didn't go (I dont like taking x-rays and have tests unless absolutely necessary)

You may have an infection in the intestines... or you body is not passing wastes fast enough and gas is the result of it staying too long... Xrays are simple - don't sweat them... the GIs are nasty only do to the chalky milkshakes they give you but they have made them significantly better in past couple years and you can even pick your flavor.... saw a guy a few months ago chug down TWO of those things... who room went quiet in awe lol

Maybe you have a condition called IBS(irritable bowl syndrom). Go to your doctor and go have tests done because they are necessary to find out what is wrong.
