Good Question.. YES definitely, i used to listen to magic/heart FM but cant stand it now.. too much DJ rubbish chat and adverts...
and trying to watch a drama on itv....
well, it was a advert every 8 minutes..... no wonder people use ipods, and watch DVDs instead of TV/radio... the companies concerned should BUCK their ideas up!!!
if they want the viewers back...

OMG. You are SO SO SO right. I actually mute the adverts now, because I cannot listen to their annoying theme tunes. I have found a way forward though... and at the risk of sounding like some kind of Sky sales person (which I am not!) .... Get sky plus, record what you want, and fastforward through the adverts. Its brilliant!

I no longer watch adverts. My life is happier for it!

Good question, adverts are becoming intrusive into programmes. To have an advert within 7-8 minutes of it starting is annoying.

In Poland we have about 20' ads for 30' of the program on TV, and some on the radio. If it gets to what you've said - every 4' sounds like a disaster - I'm going to switch on to books, watching only the news. Sb should do sth with this, I suppose it's hardly bearable to watch TV in such conditions! Take care.

Yes, they're on way to much.

I saw an add about 3 weeks ago, the guy challenging my U.S. Rep, accusing her of skipping votes & carelessly voting when she was there. RIGHT after that commercial was my Congresswoman's commercial, with her saying that she indeed was at all the votes that he said she wasn't, and is trying to lie about her record.

I found it very funny that certain candidates will pay money to have their ads run right after their opponents. But I'd rather only see 1 or 2 a day, than the 20+ I do right now.

Yes it can be very annoying!! I hate when a programme is only on 10 minutes then the adverts come on.
They should have them less and not inbetween programmes!

That's why I love my sky+ box, just got it last month and its been great to record programs and then fast forward during the ads.

They can get on our nerves, but sometimes a really good ad is amazing, really gets us talking.

When I was in uni, we used to play the ads game, were the first one to name the ad wins, made the ad breaks a little more fun
