Come out of the train station and turn left take the next two lefts on to queesway (This may seem like going round the block but you cant get round the other way) Carry on up this same road and you will see the bullring. (I don't know why some people think the station is in the bullring). when you go through the bullring you will see the mailbox on one side of it(I can't remember which - sorry). hope this is at least some help

I guess you will be walking, here are directions if you are on foot.
New Street Station is located under the Pallasades shopping mall, near to the Bull Ring.
As you are exiting New Street station you will go up some escalators to the shops above the station (The Pallasades).
At the top of the escalators turn left and head for the exit to New Street.
As you exit the Pallasades, going outside, there will be a McDonalds on your right, carry on straight ahead.
Turn first right (outside a HSBC) and carry on straight ahead.
The Bull Ring Shopping Centre is straight ahead after 200 meters.
OK, so now we are off to the Mailbox (bit of a walk so you may want to take a taxi from the Bull Ring. (approx 750 meters)
However if you are feeling energetic...
Go back the way you came, down New Street, back towards the HSBC and right past it again until you can turn left into Lower Temple Street.
At the end of Lower Temple Street turn right into Navigation Street.
The Mailbox is 350 meters straight ahead.
Big red square building (Bit like a giant mailbox, weird eh?)
I'm guessing that you are going on a shopping trip, you may want to read this: http://www.itchybirmingham.co.uk/article/1907/Shop-%c2%b4til-you-blummin'-well-drop.html
Enjoy

i duno if it's tht station but one of them stops inside the bullring. you just get off the train and then give your tickt to the person standing in between the gateway thingy and then you have it back and then you go up the escalators and your in basically. in the winter i dunno when it starts but there is a ice ring bt i think that starts in november or december im not sure.

Cool things to do in Birmingham, stand in the middle of Queensway in you underwear, that is pretty cool if not positively freezing, you did mean Cool as in cold, not as our afro carribean chums sense, where they said cool where they now say Hot. I have outdated banter syndrome, sorry old bean. Toodle pip
