Besides the motor mounts or the vibration dampers for the engine, it is possible the rear transmission mount is weak allowing the driveline to vibrate the car.
In any event DO NOT PUT anything in the fuel system except gasoline. AND DO NOT take it to some joe shmoo shop around the corner.
Mercedes Benz cars are not just a car they are automobiles of distinction and need to be treated like one. Take it to a Mercedes Benz dealer so a properly trained tech can look at it and let you know what is wrong and what the real cost will be to fix it.

By my recollection of this model I would take it to an MB dealer and have them (Technician) take it for a test drive. Since the car is in neutral it would not be a brake or wheel issue. it may be the tranny, front suspension, even the knock sesor, if there is a light on the dash. But as I said my experience with this and I have seen a couple would be engine mounts need to be replaced.

I was going to say that it sounds like the clutch, but if the car is in neutral then it can't be.
It could however be a broken cog in the box, or certainly something out of balance. You may need to get the box out and have someone have a look at it.
By the look of your ID the car is a C36 (very nice motor), in which case I wouldn't go anywhere other than a Mercedes (or AMG)dealer. And unfortunately, that may turn out ot be very expensive.

I not real familar with these cars, had a friend that has a Mercedes shop and he the man, well, was the man, bike crash got him. If, it Diesel try changing the fuel filter and run some Injector cleaner through it. Many people tell me Transmisson Fluid is great for the injectors, just pour a Quart in the tank. May check the air filter, this all know.

I would check the engine mounts which are liquid filled. I have had the liquid spill on me on more than one occasion when changing broken mounts on 202 Chassis. Try and see if you see any staining around the mounts(front & back) if possible. This is what I would check first.

More than likely misfiring on one or more cylinders. A simple diagnostic test will confirm this. 20 to 30 bucks for a simple diagnostic at most shops.
