I'm so old school when it comes to Internet chat. I use ewtoo talkers... and still love them. Hardly ever a problem with other users, and there's normally a "super user" as they're called on talkers, to help you out if so.
You need to learn the basics of the commands for ew2... but it's easy... and someone is sure to help you out with that. One thing you'll need to know as soon as you connect to one, is the command "tell". Let's just say a user has the name "Polly". You would chat to her like this for example:
tell polly Hi. I'm new to this.
Also... to get a list of super users who are there to help... type "lsu" and hit enter.
