Gotta go with Miller.
All time: Roy or Hasek.

Esche is terrible, I don't think that we could get by saying: "maybe he'll pick it up."
Cam Ward hasn't been spectacular, although I agree, he will be dominate eventually.
Belfour is a horrible answer. He will retire soon I think.
Hasek. I can't believe he's still playing - it's absurd. I bet that he gets injured (groin) sometime in late December/early January for the year.
Kippursoft has been a bit disappointing...
Huet looks shaky, I really hope he improves.
Letohnen looks good, but I'm not sure if it will last.
Turco has looked awesome IMHO.
Theodore is terrible. Poor Avalanche fans...
J.S. Giguere has actually looked solid, except that he can't handle the puck.
Probably the best goalie so far this year has been... Ryan Miller. But then, the Sabres are just on fire. We'll see if it lasts...

Fluery. He is winning. He is young. I'm only going by this year though. Come on you have to like his record. A .923 save Percentage. A 2.5 GAA. 5-3 record having started all 8 games. Won both away games and started the season with a shutout. Ok I'm a Penguins fan but this year so far you'd almost have to put him in the top 10 at least. He is having a great year.

I would probably have to say either Ryan Miller or Manny Fernandez. Ryan Miller is part of a great core of Buffalo players. Helping his team to the10-0 start, I think he certainly deserves some recognition. Fernandez on the other hand is also great. His Wild are leading their respective division and are currently a well balanced team with Gaborik (although he is hurt), Rolston, and Demitra. Personally it a toss up between the 2.

Before the season, I would have said Brodeur and Kipprusoff. But both of them aren't in the top 10 so far. Miller has 100% wins so far. Fernandez and Turco are looking pretty good. Fleury's doing great. Raycroft is regaining some of his Calder-winning form. Giguere's good and Luongo's getting adjusted to Vancouver. My Vezina pick is still Brodeur though.

Kiprusoff is the best goalie, his team just sucks (and i am a Flames fan). If Tanguay actually does what he's supposed to and the Flames improve, Kipper is hard to beat.
Vesa Toskala's pretty good, and I'll always love Broduer (even if i can't spell his name). Fleury's doing pretty good right now too.

Classically, it's been Brodeur since he doesn't break. He always shows up when he's needed.
In terms of talent, I'd say Lehotinen or Roberto Luongo. However, both are still young. Personally, I think Luongo will be better this year since he's playing behind a much better defense.

Miller. He just doesn't give up the cheap ones. Most of the goals I have seen him give up are fluke goals that only a literal brick wall would have stopped. The Sabres don't have the most physical defensemen in the league, but they make sure he can see shots. Besides, numbers can lie, but shootout stats don't because it is 1-on-1, and Miller comes up big there.

Well.... I just watched a tape of the Canadians/Sabres game from last week..... and, as much as I hate to say it.... Miller.
Brodeur is a superb goalie until he starts getting too cocky for his own good. Cam Ward is still not seasoned enough. <---Give this guy another year or two.
Eche may step up now - we'll see.

I would have to go with Roberto Luongo. He's outshined alot of his peers so far this season. There's a reason why he's considered one of the elite goaltenders in the NHL.

So far Brodeur, Fernandez, Luongo and Lehtinen all look good. I like Manny, he's winning games by 2-1 scores and shootouts, that's tough.
