This is a tough one to answer. First of all, you have to practice a lot to pull off a perfect powerslide. It will depend on how fast you are going, and how much grip the road surface gives you.

A general answer would be to be cruising about 15 mph and pull a handfull of parking brake. Once you know the back tires are sliding and the car is down to about 10 mph do a very slight turn to the right and then pull it back left. The car should kick around pretty quick. Release the handbrake about half way around and step on the foot brake. You'll stop pretty close to 180 degrees around.

But the key is lots of practice to determine how YOUR car reacts to these inputs. Find an empty lot, and start slow. Don't try a 50mph powerslide, unless you want your first try to end up on the roof...

Good Luck!

A 1967 mustang is a well first automobile for someone! I loooove the ones vehicles and hi there, if it is what you wish, then I'd get it, simply ensure it is in running order and you are now not getting scammed. You'll be the speak of the university, thats for certain. Just do not forget that with high-quality energy comes high-quality accountability, so do not abuse the speeds it might probably stand up to. Thats the one drawback to having a automobile like that at such an early age, you'll be able to be far more tempted to move quick which would finish badly for each you and your automobile. But, if in case you have that type of cash to spend and THATS the type of automobile you wish (15 grand? Really? Are you certain you do not imply 15 hundred? Because for 15 grand I could be shopping a modern automobile), then I say opt for it. Those are high-quality vehicles.

1- TURN THE WHEELS ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT.
2- ENGAGE THE TRANSMISSION TO "DRIVE" OR 1ST GEAR OR 2ND GEAR.
3- RELEASE THE HANDBRAKE. YOU SHOULD START ROLLING IN A PERFECT CURVE TO RIGHT OR LEFT.
4- STRAIGHTEN THE WHEEL OUT WHEN THE U TURN IS COMPLETED.

Don't use the parking brake. Those things are generally very flimsy in 4w disc vehicles. You'd have to have some sort of limited slip and enough power to break both rear wheels loose fast enough to avoid accelerating, and the limited slip won't last long.
