Lennon, Morrison, Mercury, Strummer, Andrew Wood, Johnny Rotten, Bon Scott, Bono, Ozzy, Bolan, all others are second rate next to these guys really. Perry Ferrall was amazing in his early days as well as was Iggy and Jagger.

Not sure there can be a best. My favorite is Jon Bon Jovi, his music moves me and literally helped save my faith.
However, Freddie Murcury, Steven Tyler and Bono all deserve as much recognition.
Too many greats. Perhaps what what would be beter is the same approach the NBA took and have a greatest 50 of all time. Let's just leave of the rock version of Scottie Pippen.
Maybe that would be a good qusetion, who's the Scottie Pippen of the 50 greatest Rockers. My vote, David Lee Roth, he s a freak, saw him a few years ago with Bad Company, what a loser!

Difficult question. It's all a matter of preference. But, you have Steve Daltry of the Who, you have Robert Plant of Led Zepplin, the late great Jimi Hendrix, Joey Ramone of the Ramones, Bradly Nowell of Sublime, Chris Cornell of Audioslave for a little more modern music, the list just continues. And lets not for get David Gilmore and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd along with the first frontman to Pink Floyd the late Syd Barrett.

I love the Rolling Stones so I'd have to say Mick Jagger. I've seen them at least 10 times in concert and I'd have to say Mick has as much energy as he did in the 60s or 70s. And the fact that grandparents bring their grandchildren to the shows so they can see a living legend says a whole lot!

Well your going to hear a massive variation in answers to this question, everyone will see this differently, but for me, you couldnt list just one its just not possible, Tim rodgers of you am i, has to rate but if you live outside australia its unfortunate for you as you wont know or have seen them perform. As far as a top ten well not in any particular ranking order but here goes , Bono - U2
Fredie mercury - Queen
Gene and Paul -KISS
Robert Plant - Led zep
Mick jagger - the stones
Elvis even though he was
a solo artist
Axl rose - Total ******
But great front man none
the less.
Timmy rodgers and the
whole of you am i,
Greatest act in rock
n roll
Hendrix - No one lights a
guitair on fire like him!
Nirvana- Cobain on his own was a poor front man, but the smashing of equipment in the fashon that they did it in was unique and if i had the chance to see live any band ever they would be it, they were just awsomely powerfull (im told)
*Peter garrett of midinght oil gets an honourable mention.

Where the **** have you people been. Without a doubt the greatest ROCK vocalist of all time is Roger Daltrey of the Who. That's right, roger, not steve. dumbass. No one else in rock could ever match this guys vocals.
