I bet in their ignorance they believe that if they get cancer from the chemicals at work then they'll be able to sue the employer for their "nest egg", and in some ways they are right but they would never get millions. The employer has a responsibility to ensure that there is a safe work place and that their staff follow safety directives, if the staff do not then it becomes a disciplinary matter, after all every employee is replaceable, often it takes a couple of times for a supervisor or employer to be sued to absorb this fact and take the necessary measures to educate and supervise employees to ensure their safety. Get tough on them, report it, your probably saving their life
