No. This makes it very easy for someone to locate your computer and hack into it. I hope you have a really good firewall.

All computers have an individual number that differentiates one pc from another online and this is called an IP address. It is never safe to give this out to anyone, although some websites, especially if you are buying things on the net will record your IP Address for security reasons. This is safe, but giving it out is not. Hope this helps.

if your playing online games.sometimes you have to give out your ip address..its called a ip game.but do you have a router?.that will descramble your internet incoming so no one can get into your computer..but if your just giving it out to anybody..there is people out here that can use it to hack you..
