type CMD, or COMMAND in the run box.

Then type Ipconfig (for windows xp), or winipcfg (for windows 98)

In the run textbox type "cmd" and hit OK. Type "ipconfig" and hit enter.

go to network connection in control panel right click on it then click on exploe then click on local area connection then the status then support you will see your IP adress there.
