How to link MS Access Project from one computer to other computers?

i've seen my friend connecting his ms Access project :

- (server) share the computer
- (client) assign a drive letter to a network computer
- (client) connect ms access project to the 'new drive' + ms access database location.

very sad, isn't it ?
