No, everything she does has an angle on it that comes back to making her more money. There are all kinds of people with money that help out but most you never know or hear from. Those that you do know (like Bill Gates & others) may do things to help people but it does not help microsoft.
Opera on the other hand will start a foundation (having others put the bulk of the money in, while she adds a little). She will then air the show, which makes her much more money then she lost. While I do give her credit for coming up with such a scam. In the end she is the pimp of the poor, needy, helpless. Nobody in the history of mankind has found a way to make more money off the misfortunes of others like Oprah Winfrey has.
How do you air a show on child abuse on day, starving people the next, people living in cars the next, and then wrap it up on friday by showing your 1,000 square foot walk in closet? With a little tip on which book to buy (only those that you have a finacial interest in).

No, she is too dramatic.
Once upon a time i watched an episode related to a poor man married to a rich woman for 7 years. Then the man ask for divorce because he find that he is gay suddenly. He also want to get the money from the woman.
Jesus, do u believe that there is such a noisy scanario in real life? I really don't think so. I think this kind of stupid story just created by Oprah. She just use the dramatic story to gain the attraction from audience.
Beside, don't you think that her opinion is just normal stuff? You and me can have that kind of opinion.

Aloha from Down Unda!
I'm from Chicago & grew up in the miserable, impoverished side of town enduring the bleak winters & pitiful conditions of the city in the 50s & 60s. 'Orca' was a pitiful case in The Color Purple & always reminds me of the whinny, bawling mindlessness of that repulsive side of life I detested & escaped by enlisting in the US Army in 1967 as a high school dropout at age 17. Our President had been shot just a few years earlier & the civil rights movement with daily riots was well underway, soldiers dying in VietNam & the influx of womens liberation overshadowed the 'Summmer of Love' while we landed on the moon in 69. Jump 25 years later & this fat, ugly, ***** woman with more money than God is plastered on a huge marque in Honolulu's Aloha Tower & I nearly puke! It's been consistant nausea in spite of plenty of race relations seminars, equal opportunity management classes, an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, an open mind & soul searching for a lifetime. If she was on fire I wouldn't waste spit & only answer this as self help therapy to vent my complete disgust, repugnance & contempt for her & ANYONE lame enough to watch her & her she it! When the program is on television, I'm careful to be sure the channel is nowhere close to that station & should she be mentioned in any news or talk show, I even temporarily switch off David Letterman & can't get to the remote fast enough. She is a pity party on roids & a complete waste of space! Excuse me, I gotta hurl...

Yes, I like Oprah very much. She is a positive influence to many people and she is kind and giving. She has worked hard to get where she is and she gives back in many ways!
I admire her for her good heart, her good values and her good influence. She came from nothing to where she is now and I admire her for that also. Not everyone lives to their full potential, but she has and still has not stopped. I am proud that she has continued to stir things up , make people think and react to the things going on around us that need to be addressed. From a local story to a inter-national one she has taken it on. Way to go girl!

Although I don't watch her show, but , of course, the wife does. I admire her for coming from nothing to become what she is. She is very charitable and generous. Making money is the name of the game, but she gives a lot back too. She helps a lot of people.

I used to think she was the goddess who knew all, and watched her daily... but no more. She has become egotistical and arrogant, and with very limited topics and guests on her show.
