Im doing a biology assignment and every In Vitro Fertilisation clinic (well almost all) say Monash somewhere! Can anybody help?

While I am not too certain, I suspect it makes reference to the process which was first pioneered by a Monash Professor in the late 1970s.

Perhaps, along the way, other IVF processes / methods were developed, and by having a Monash to the IVF clinic's name, it make reference that the clinic uses the original method in its process.

It is the name of a university in Australia but why every in-vitro fertilization clinic say Monash somewhere, I have no idea! Sorry!
