Advantages include: Hydrogen does not make air, land, or water pollution, it provides a safe burning the only byproduct is water.
Disadvantages include: Hydrogen takes a lot of power and money to isolate from its common H20 compound. Therefore, occasions exist in which hydrogen creates less energy then is needed to use hydrogen as an energy resource.

The main advantages of hydrogen fuel are 1) it is plentiful (all water is a source) and 2) it is non-polluting (water is the exhaust product.
The main disadvantages are 1) cost 2) energy consumption in production 3) hazardous to handle.
