when i was 14, i was grounded for nine months, thats almost an entire school year. seriously grounded too; no phone, tv or friends.

My dad would always tell me that I was grounded for a year but I'd drive him crazy by asking him questions through my bedroom door and he'd get so annoyed that he'd tell me to go outside and play lol he was a sucker lol I still tease him bout it to this day lol

My parents never believed in it and wouldn't have tried to stop me from going anywhere I felt I needed to go. They trusted me and only "grounded" me to keep me from going to a party.
