retain power? Yep!! Dems and Reps alike were taking about it all day. How does that make a Rep feel? How does that make a Dem feel?

The Carter/Reagan election proved polls were worthless. The polls in that election showed Carter ahead right up to election day. Public opinion swings to quickly to be measured accurately. What was true 1/2 hour ago isn't true now.

I am not a republican, nor am I a democrat. I think it is a poll, and has a wider margin of error than specified. I do not believe republicans with keep both the senate and the house. One if they are lucky, but certainly not both. I research each issue or candidate and then vote. Sometimes that is a repub and other times it has been a demo. There is nothing like a scandal just before an election to change the status quo. Good question. Peace.

If everyone by now has not figured that the Republican leadership is so totally devoid of morality then maybe we deserve what we get.
Less than 25% of Americans will bother to vote. I like the Aussie system of penalizing non-voters. I think their penalty should be another 9 months of political commercials.
Nope, call me "a cock-eyed optimist", I still think good will out on the 7th.

If the majority of American's see the the republican party as being the best for our country and vote to keep them in power....I will cease from voting forever......NOT.....because you're full of crap!
