to double check that the official results are accurate by voting on a paper copy of official ballot secretly and signing a noterized statement that this is the same way you actually just voted inside and then put it in a transparent locked ballot box for public counting later.

At 50-60% participation, it is much higher accuracy than traditional exit polls that only ask 2-25% of the voters.

what party are you and would you participate if approached at the polls election day..why or why not?

EDIT to Leonard..I am very involved in voting rights groups and our grou of activists got the election fraud in Ohio all the way o congress in the Conyers report "what went worng in Ohio" and that led to the historic election challenge to Bushs election in congress on 1/6/2004 (2nd in 228 years)

It is this same group of voting rights people who are doing these parrellel elections to try to prove fraud as one of their stategies. This is the 3rd elections these have been done and we hope this year we can do uit at more precincts. Yes, we need to scrap the whole electronic voting machines and optical scanner tabulator, but until then we are trying to do what we can. We all know first hand these machines are rigged and the Ohio presidential was stolen. See freepress.org under election for all the article and books about it. But until then--see this website for more info on parallele elections

see what happened in Ohio here

We are trying to prove vote fraud..in the meantime please do this, contact representatives and ask them to cosign/support HB 6200 that will make all future presidential elections on paper ballots hand counted and psoted at the precinct in a transparent way in public and if that passes, maybe eventually they will do amendments to have the same for other high offices..it is our best chance it was introduced in congress by an Ohio congressman well aware of the massive fraud here in Ohio. HB 6200 our first ray of hope

I lost you on this question.

I once was a notary public and signed an affadavit for the late Dr. Spock who was running for President in 1972.

The electon process is mainly done by machine, and seeing how inacurate it was in 2000, maybe a better system should be installed.

(Attempt to answer your question)

I have no party affiliation, but lean toward democratic but would endorse a formidable Independent candidate who can make progress in the area of social and working class issues.

No, I wouldn't take part in the above mentioned experiment at the polls on election day. Rather, a full scale new election process that would s---can the exisiting one entirely...would be sorely needed and hoped for at this time.

Hope I answered your question now.

The fiasco of 2000, and the resulting presidency who mirrors that fraud, is a sobering testament to the inadequacies of the so-called democracy we live in.

However, I still don't understand your question.

What is desperately needed, and I believe you will concur, is a reformation of the election process from top down.

Installing a better system, more efficient and 100% accurate, should be relatively easy to do seeing how everything we now do is computerized.

Sure, I'll sign the form and then put the opposite information down. That's the funny part, they don't know how I really voted. There's no name on my real ballot and the second one is "secret" too. I'm just signing saying the ballot I just had locked up is the same. No way to prove it once it's inside the locked box with all the others.

hahahaha--I just messed up your votes.
