Your suggestion is good, but no value infront of BCCI selectors :

BCCI is not giving Ganguly a chance because of an old rift between Jagmohan Dalmiya and Sharad Powar. Dalmiya thrown out from BCCI, Ganguly treated very badly and sandwitched, a big question mark on Indian systems and rules ??????????

The problem, would be who can be left out from the team? With all due respect to Ganguly, he has not exactly been scoring tons of runs in any competition, neither in English county, nor in the Challengers series. Also, the current batsmen are performing, though not terrific, but still better than Ganguly. So, why leave out a performer for Ganguly who is not performing currently?

After he was dropped from Indian Team, Ganguly has not at all been performing well in all he matches he has played till now. He got an oppoprtunity to prove his worth in the Challenger Trophy, which he miserably failed. Under such circumstances giving a chance to him is out of question unless he proves that still some cricket left in him by performing well in the Ranji Trophy Matches.

ganguly not performing well either in batting or in bowling side, and bcci has available another option like dinesh mogia, suresh raina and other ; so bcci is not giving ganguly a chance even in a single match.

because the other younger players are playing well...
ganguly is not getting any younger
he is not a team man...
he is not in good form
bcci has a strong back bone now
