If so, have you been reading about the Cheerleaders's powers and that it is possible for us to have the same genetic modification in real life as hers. . .in fact we have the gene to heal rapidly, but it is in the "off" switch in our bodies, what are your views on this??

I love the cheerleader and her power but I don't see that it is impresive on its own. Like Wolverine I feel it needs to evolve or be augmented. As for your news it doesn't ring true. It reads like you are saying it is a gene designed to kill us not save us. That doesn't sound like it is turned off to me. It sounds like it is our mortality.

The Cheelearerd healig ability, as far as I can tell, is a form of cellular regeneration accellerated to an almost infinite scale. I believe that it WILL BE possible, but that our current government won't allow the necessary experements, even though it would result in a better soldier. Stronger, faster, almost indestructable.. and once the limit on the number of times a cell can divide is overcome, veritable immortality. Of course, there are come people that we really DON'T wan to live forever, hell there are some that we don't even want to live through the next 5 seconds. Because of the restrictions that the US government places on experimentation, some other country will get it first, and we well be left out in the cold...again.

I would like to know where you get the theories for the off switch in our bodies thing? I do not understand how you could think that. Although Heroes is a great show and I am a big fan of it . I think that it is purely fiction indeed and not meant to be taken so seriously. I think it is great that ppl are getting so into it ,but at the same time it is just a t.v.show. Good luck and god bless.

Interesting thought,

I just really like how the powers are tied to the psychology of the character.

the ambitious politician who can fly, The police officer who doesn't get along with his wife can now read thoughts. The Internet stripper who has an alter "bada--" Ego. The lost younger brother that can "mimic" other powers. The Inmate that can walk through walls. The Cubicle Jocky that can accellerate time, The fragile young girl who is indestructable. neat.
