After he was dropped from Indian Team, Ganguly has not at all been performing well in all he matches he has played till now. He got an oppoprtunity to prove his worth in the Challenger Trophy, which he miserably failed. Under such circumstances giving a chance to him is out of question unless he proves that still some cricket left in him by performing well in the Ranji Trophy Matches

No doubt S. Ganguly is one of the greatest indian crickters. But in the recent past his performance is very ordinary when ever he was given a chance. So naturally he should be kept out.

Unfortunately he is not performaning in the domestic matches as well which makes his comeback into the indian team very difficult. Hopefully he will find his confidence and form and serve indian cricket some more years...all the best dada...

BCCI does not select Indian teams; the Selection Committee does. Ganguly's recent form (last 3-4 months) in dometic cricket and English County circult is still not up to the mark.

I had great respect for Ganguly, but he has stooped too low by playing politics.first of all he was hiding his injury and in the process not performing at this level. The indian cricket team doesnt need record holders like highest number of captaincy, highest number catches , or highest number of run getter, the team needs performers and strictly performers.
No player should be in the team for the past laurels (records). we should only see the present and future performers. I must say well done Greg Chappel.

One must have better performance than earlier Ganguly was losing his form so he has to pay for it & y the question is for only Ganguly & y not others Zaheer Khan is sitting Outside, Ashish Nehra where is he? Laxmipati Balaji, mind u the above bowlers r better than R.P. Singh.
