"If you don't get what you deserve, you are what you take" (line from a song, Sisters of Mercy I believe...)
Be picky! Yes it makes life more difficult but if you wait for the best, it will be worth the wait. People with low expectations may have them met rather easily but at what cost? Don't settle.
Yes it can be a good thing. As long as it's for the right reasons. Be careful though. Sometimes "being picky" is just an excuse to hide from what you're afraid of (relationships etc.) It's a good excuse for avoiding things & not fully living your life. Sometimes you have to give things a chance. No one is perfect. There is such a thing as "too picky." If you're setting impossible standards then they may never be met and what is the cost there? A life unlived. Sometimes you have to say, what the heck & give it a chance. Just don't do anything rash. Like getting married...
Good luck! :)

Picky or maticulous? Accuracy in some things is good. But picky is irritating to most of us. particular is tastes of individuals and should not be imposed upon others unless ordering in a restaurant or you are asked your preference. Again being accurate is great for many reasons. An over poor of milk into a glass and spilling it on the floor (an accident) if someone is arguing about the spilt milk than that is what it is crying over spilt milk and picky for nothing is perfect. But to hang wallpaper accurately is absolutely not picky, no one would like having a mish mosh pattern on your walls? so it is not picky to have it done right.

i in my opinion imagine this question, even although chauvinist at situations, brings up some very interesting factors about equality. men are anticipated to be the bread winners, to fix the damaged issues, to maintain the motorized vehicle and so on... obviously there might want to be exceptions yet it really is often the sentiment. men are anticipated to pay for videos and dates, women human beings devour it up often times... men would too if the jobs were reversed. men are anticipated to have the better paying jobs and to be established help for the relations. yet when a guy expects that a lady fulfill any of the stereotypical roles for her gender then the guy is being sexist or chauvinistic. i'm getting what you're saying guy. yet this does not recommend that we as men are at any shy away once you seem at women human beings's rights from a broader view aspect.

Yes, and Yes.
Set good prorities and adjust your "pickiness" to suit.
There is a fine line between Picky and Pita (Pain in the ***).
You need to know when to let it go.
Sounds simple,..........isn't.
But that is the key.

This is a good way to find out if anything is worthwhile:
Ask yourself, "When I'm on my deathbed, will this matter to me then?" It will help you put things in perspective.
