Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you're good is like expecting the bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
I would like the world to be more fair but I know it doesn't work that way.

expecting and really getting are two different things. everyone would like to treated fairly. and most the time, they expect to be treated fairly. but most the time.. reality just aint that sweet..

no. i do not trust people or the fates since i was molested for an extended period beginning at the age of 6. nothing was ever done about it. how can i see the world as a fair place? sorry to be such a downer. i'm a decent functioning person of society. i simply have no use for the word fair.

Generally, yes. Though there are more specific circumstances where that might be different, for example, if I walked into a KKK meeting I might well expect some abuse for my Hispanic heritage.
