looks like you just graduated and landed your first real job.

it will take you many years before you can achieve the executive level positions. depending on the size of the organisation and its corporate heirarchy getting promoted to the next levels will take time and hard work. the requirements of heads of departments or executive positions or C level positions are experience and maturity. the person will need to make important decisions everyday and manage many people. typically most people in these positions are in their late 30s to 40s and older. so that will give you an estimate how long it takes.

i suggest you focus on working hard and smart and concentrate on doing your best in whatever you are assigned to do.
