The media would have you think the democrats have it wrapped up. I remember 2 years ago when the media wrongly posted Kerry as the next President (they gave false exit poll numbers)! So when the repubs rule again this year I will do the same I did two years ago. Open up a good bottle of wine with my wife and enjoy the dems crying again! Ohh yea, we had a "show me your bush party" with a bunch of friends. (Everyone had to bring a pic of George Bush, LOL!) It was a blast!

I am a moderate Democrat and unfortunately I don't have high hopes that they will attain enough seats for control in November.
I guess I am pessimistic due to the hype of the Democrats retaining control in the elections of 2004. They didn't win anything in 2004 and I feel 2006 will be the same.

Dems will most likely collect the seats needs to regain to house but I highly doubt they will get enough to take back the Senate. At last look, dems were going to just about sweep the seats that are "in play" to win back the senate. With the recent republican surge (Foley behind us now) dems will close the gap but not take back both sides of congress.
