Yea. I think that's called 'having fun'.

Does it really matter? The whole event has been progressively been blown out of proportion through commercialism. Basically it is just a pretext to have a bit of fun when dark nights close in, and it is totally meaningless as a celebration. It is just like Carnivals, which take place just for the fun of it at different times of the year. If people choose to be ridiculous it is their own affair.

So what- it's halloween! Why read into it... it's their choice to spend the money and it was their costume choice, not yours. Why be mean about someone else having a bit of fun?

Not everyone looks rediculous by their choice of costume. I've seen some amazing costumes and was even judged prettiest costume on one I made myself. It's my opinion that Halloween costumes have become cheap looking and if you really want to have a costume that suites you, make it yourself.

the whole point to costumes is to look ridiculous, its all about fun not looking good. I bet your the kind of person that tells kids Santa Claus in not real.
