How can I read Hindi web pages with Firefox 2 on Mac OS X?

Safari displays Hindi and other Devanagari pages very well, but Firefox on Mac just gives me a series of question marks.

It seems Hindi is not ready for prime time. Here is the registration request to Mozilla but the build is not complete:

Go to the General tab under Options. Its under Tools in the Menubar. Select Edit Languages. If what you want isn't already installed it gives you a list of languages you can add.
