I think maybe Paul Elvstrom won gold in the Soling when he was 64 or so, but I'm not quite sure.

Oscar Swahn, of Sweden. Swahn shot his way to three gold, a silver and two bronze medals from 1908 to 1920. At his last Games, he finished second as a member of the team running deer shooting, double trap squad from Sweden and thus, at 72 years and 279 days of age, became the oldest competitor and medal winner in Olympic history.

According to the Guiness Book of World Records the oldest olympic gold medallist was Oscar Swahn was a member of the winning Running Deer shooting team at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. He was 64-years and 258-days old

Oscar Swahn

He collected a silver medal in the team double-shot running deer competition at the 1920 Olympics held in Antwerp.

He was 72 at the time.
