I converted a flv file to an avi file and it won't play when I try to put it into a powerpoint. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Can you help me?

I tried it with quicktime (.mov) also, but it won't do it either.

AVI, MOV, RMVB file wont work, the only video audio file will work with power point is ASF format.

You can embed ASF into PPT file.

ASF is a Microsoft streaming file format.

you should be able too,, yet i'm prepared to wager the AVI makes use of a codec it really is not put in on your equipment. attempt downloading DIVX on your pc it comes with diverse different formats which will be put in to allow you to view different AVI formats... also ITunes comes with Quicktime so attempt downloading that.
