ESPN Insider offers scouting stats for each player, but it is a premium (paid) service.

For each batter, it shows their average against each type of pitch - for example, Derek Jeter is a good fastball hitter (.288), but not good on curves (.181). They also have a hitting chart that breaks the strike zone down into nine areas, and it has the batter's average when hitting pitches in each area. The same chart also shows the number of pitches chased in each area by that batter. If you need info on some players, let me know and I'll see what I can send to you.

Finally, the Sporting News (in conjunction with Stats Inc.) used to publish the Scouting Notebook every year, and it was an awesome resource. For 2006, however, they combined it with another publication and reduced its value. I'm hoping they go back to the old format, but they probably won't.

STATS Inc. at one time used to be a really good place for scouting reports. You might try there... stats.com.
