He was dating a USC basketball player, Brynn Cameron, and he met her in study hall. They have dated since February 2005. He was a quarterback for his high school as well.

I highly doubt that they're daying; it seems that it was just a short fling. Some say they're saying they're still dating to make his image look better.
Leinart has been seen at various nightclubs all year and there are pix on the internet where he has been seen very drunk and very aggressive towards young women. One girl put the pics on the web. When Brynn was asked earlier this year if they were going to get married she said no and that they were good freinds.
I'm sure she's loving the fact that Matt's loaded so she'll be taken care of.

Um. okay...lets answer this
1) how he became a father--he dated basketball player Brynn Cameron most of his time at USC. met her during a study hall session. (hey, he had to do homework too you know) she even wore his now famous #11 on the basketball team. he really did love her but they broke up last year before he graduated. i'm not going into detail how she got pregnant because i'm guessing you already know how that happened.
2) football player--he orginally was a baseball player but stopped because of elbow problems. did football because his brother talked him into it so he tried it for mater dei. went on to become california state player of the year. then he got the choice of scholarships from either michigan or usc. chose usc because of norm chow. played behind carson palmer. was going to transfer because palmer came back senior year. but he graduated and won the starting job and the rest is history.
