I had come across two Indian sites -- Freelance India and Imperial Biz. But on further scrutiny they appeared to be fraud / scammers. All tghese sites boast of very high earning potential and still want you to pay a hefty joining fee of say Rs.5000/-. I put them the question as to why they do not deduct the fee from my first payment! None of them replied since then. So you should accept the fact that nothing comes for free. And dealing through net is more dangerous as India do not have proper cyber law.

Do not waste ur time. There is nothing as such goes as far as india is concerned. There may be some genuine ones but they are reserved only for U.S citizens, So do not follow any thing blindly and end up loosing ur money. There are even sights which promise u the sky for as low as $2 u.s dollor, but u pay thru ur credit card once u give ur personal information, u will be robbed at a latter date.
So work hard use ur brains u can succeed otherwise u will be scratching ur balls.

Most data entry jobs are scams.
Work at home jobs are hard to find. Technical, phone work or writing jobs are the most common legit ones. You may want to check out some job leads at http://wahjobs.blogspot.com Plus there is a listing of companies that regularly hire telecommuters
