The only platform the Democrats have to stand on, would be "WE HATE BUSH" They7 haven't had time to come up with a plan beyond that. Republicans were the same untill they wizend up in 1994 with their "Contract with America" campaign. If you don't offer alternatives you will allways be on the outside looking in. When smart people look at what you have, you better be able to state your case. IF the best you can come up with is "we know what we are doing" you will lose. might not be big you might gain a few seats, may even win the house for 2 years. but after that if you don't have a plan you are toast.

How would you like to be a Democrat, who wakes up the Day after the election, only to find out that they won the House.

Hey Keepit.... That tax break went to more than just the rich. I would never consider my $40k a year salary dropping me in the RICH catagory. And I take my Share of the breaks That Bush pushed through to create the overwhelming economy you see today. Dow over 12,000. Unemployment at 4.6% and North Korea tests a Nuke and the stock market still rises. That is called real economy. Not some "bubble" that may or may not burst. Oh did I mention that tax revenues have hit all time records, and that this deficit has a forseeable end, As opposed to the high tax, federal hand outs that dems forced on us for 40 years prior to 1994? Remember the real debate in 1995 was when the deficit would be cleared up? Under Bill Clintons first numbers we would still be in deficit spending today. Forget that on a cool bright sunny day in September $1.5 Trillion ($1,500,000,000,000.00) disappeared the second United flight 11 struck that tower in NEW YORK? And Yet, 5 years later we are not in the midst of a terrible depression. You will never wake up to the arrogant misdealings the Democrat party has played on the American people for far too long.

They live daily by their improvements for about 40 years now. They abort so many of their own possible voters that the right has to win office because they just keep growing larger and larger. The right do not not kill their own. Ideas, from the left? Then how would they have time to stand in front of the cameras to complain for 6 years about losing.

* Fight abortion with PROVEN remedies, like education and birth control, not assinine and ineffective "abstinance only" programs.
* Stop borrowing trillions of dollars from China to fund tax breaks for the rich, all this money has to be paid back WITH INTEREST! This is how repugnicans raise taxes!!
* Actually DO something to protect our borders, and stop wasting time persecuting gays for no good reason.
* Repair our disastrous world image and restore productive diplomacy, it does us no good to be the most hated country in the world.
* Restore the constitution and eleminate the cheats that bush used to go around it.
* Force rust windbag to chew on several tubes of superglue (kidding, but it's a nice image).

This is just a few of many, there is an awful lot of damage to undo.

Face it...Voting Democrat and Republican doesnt work anymore...you get the same big business, big government, corporate welfare crap. Theyve both been compromised..bought and paid...its just like do you prefer to get scalped starting on the left side or your head or the right...I'd like to see them all get booted out...Check out how they vote on the congress website(they have the roll call votes posted) When it comes to Anti-American, Anti-Freedom Draconian laws they both vote for it...theres a few good Republicans and a few good Democrats, , but the higher up you look, the more corrupt they are...the scum really does tend to rise to the top of the pot.

1 Cooperation in governance.
2 Recognition of the necessity to move to Universal Health Care beginning with arranging for Medicare/ Medical to lower the price of drugs for seniors and others by dealing directly he suppliers.
3 Admit that Iraq is a lost cause and that we have to proceed in an orderly with drawl plan, and then work with our traditional allies like France, Germany, Spain, Italy, England and so on to come to terms with the aftermath of Bush's mistake.
4 Cancel the tax cuts to the rich.
5 Lower student loans for School.
6 Kill the stupid drug plan and install a real plan in it's place that primarily serves the people an not the industry.
7 Go back to Clinton successful pay-as-you-go for Government programs and beginning paying back Bush's War debt.
8 And many more excellent things that the Country needs including a new energy program.

The status quo is that Republicans will spend us deeper into national debt. Democrats will raise taxes to balance the budget and pay off the debt.

It is the difference between paying today and paying later with interest added.
