Relative to an stadard Lancer yes, relative to a car with the type of performace and evo has, no.

They are reliable cars when properly maintained and not driven like a bat out of hell everywhere you go.(same holds true for most cars, but an Evo is more tempting to push than most cars)

If you are considering buying one, they are VERY expensive to maintain. And I am comparing that to my 350z
