My friend in Iraq says that when he's off duty there is a sort of a rec room they go to for computer time.

Do you mean how would they buy one?
Why would a person not have a computer...

you can have alot of things, just because you're in the army doesn't mean you're not aloud to have any possesions, only in basic training are you not aloud to have possesions but thats only 11 weeks long.

Yes you are aloud to have computer but you can used it if your off duty.

I GUESS DEPENDONG ON WHERE THEY ARE STATIONED IS WHETHER THEN HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER OR NOT.
