you might need to wash down your shoes....

then make sure you wash and dry your feet really good. drying them is key because you stand there in all that water in the shower and they get all icky...wash them last then really rinse them good

then consider getting a powder to put between your toes and on the bottom of your feet....if you are a girl baby powder or that new good smelling lavendar baby powder...this will absorb moisture and odors...if you are a guy get that gold bond medicated foot powder or any other foot powder in that aisle at the store...

then wheneverpossible just go barefoot so your feet can air out. and drink more water because water helps wash toxins and bacteria that cause body odor out of your system.

NEVER BE EMBARRASED AGAIN!!! You need to buy 2 things. One is a "crystal" roll-on deodorant that you should apply after every shower. This deodorant - for some reason - is always on the very top or the very bottom shelf at the stores, so it may not be so easy to find (http://www.tccd.com/). I have found it at Walgreens. It feels and dissolves just like water on your feet. Make sure to rub them well so that your skin absorbs the liquid and your feet left dry (you don't want to leave them humid). And second, AND MOST IMPORTANT, buy BORIC ACID powder. I have bought mine at WalMart or if you can't find it, try online at AmericaRX. Sprinkle the powder in your shoes and make sure to shake the shoe so that the powder is spread all over it, but specially in the front/toe area. You don't have to sprinkle every time (although I do out of habit and paranoia), but you'll notice when the effect wears off and you just refresh your shoes (I use about 1 spoonful per shoe). This white powder is typically used for killing roaches - and by the way - it is very effective at that too. BUT it kills the odor germs in your shoes!! so you don't have to be replacing your shoes because of this and it is perfectly safe on your skin in your feet. You are going to LOVE this. I know I do. I can now wear AND TAKE OFF my shoes ANYWHERE WITH FULL CONFIDENCE!! Good luck and please let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear your success story. cb

You know what I will be honest with you. You may have this condition my co worker had and it's bad because his feat would always sweat and the doctor recommended a procedure but it was very expensive. How ever maybe you could try to solve this problem thro a "back door" so to speak. Find out if you have experiencing stress or any other unusual activities. The human nervous system is very complex and sensitive so many illnesses including the condition you may have can be related to this. So you should try to approach this problem from multiple angles and see what works best. I will not tell you that you need to wash them as well. Good luck !

There is some good foot deodorants around and you could also try a peppermint foot spray. Body Shop sells cheap ones.

Once they stink - give them a soak or a wash at night time before bed. Use a scrub if you have one, moisturise them and that should freshen them up before the next day.

Soak them for about 30 min I guess, if it's just from sweating. Before you go to bed you can also lather your feet in lotion and put some cotton socks on, in the morning they will be soft and smell good. If you have Athlete's foot, then buy that spray.

Wash your feet with mint. Also use Dr. Scholl's odor removal foot powder. It has much to do with the sweating. If it is due to excessive sweating, you can see a doctor, and they can help you eliminate the amount of sweater. Also, the quality of the shoes do matter, since the sweat will react with the materials of the shoes. Wear sandals with a leather in sole. Avoid plastic materials, as the sweat interacts with the some forms of plastic and cause the foot to stink.

You might want to do some foot soak to clear away the smell regularly, here is one home remedy you can try, add a few drops of essential oil and it helps to have a nice scent as well:
