The "mean" means "average." So, GPA mean is your average GPA. About the percentile (I don't know why they need this) is actually a value that defines your rank.

The highest GPA score is 4.0, which is 100%. Then, convert the GPA in percentage that you have by multiplying it by 4.0.
Let's say that you have a 95% of GPA, hence:

95% * 4.0 = 3.8 GPA

Hope this is what you were looking for.

I believe that GPA, in most cases, is the average of all the grades you received during a semester where 0 = F, 1 = D, 2 = C, 3 = B, 4 = A, and 5 = A in some advanced classes.

So if your % in a class is 90+, give the class 4 points (or 5 if it's a specific kind of advanced class), 80 -> 3, 70 ->2, 60 ->1 lessthan60: 0. Average all the scores, and there's your GPA.

The GPA is simply the average of all the grades you get on an A-F scale, while a percentage is .. well... the percentage you got in all your classes, or the average of the percentage you got in each class.

Percentages and percentiles are different. Your percentile is the percent of people in your school (most likely) that you did better than. If you are the top student, you'll be in the 99th percentile, because 99% of the students did worse than you (and you can't get 100 unless you are the only student being measured).

Your college transcripts are on a 100 point scale?

Well, you need to assess a letter grade to each of your classes, based on your school's grading system. For example, at most schools, a 95% is an A and a 92% is an A- ... which you then translate to the 4 point scale...

A =4.00
A- =3.67
B+ =3.33
B =3.00
B- =2.67
C+ =2.33
C =2.00
C- =1.67
D+ =1.33
D =1.00
D- =0.67
F =0.00

GPA or Grade Point Average is calculated by multiplying the number of credits for the each class by its 4-point grade, and dividing by the total number of credits.

In other words, if you get an A in a 4 credit class and a B in a 3 credit class, that is (4.00 x 4) + (3.00 x 3) = 27.00/7= 3.86

Not really sure what else I can say to be more clear...
