the cell membrane is a good place to start. the amoeba uses it to envelope their food and assimilate it into itself...also uses it to move around. the paramecium uses it's cillia (tiny hairs) on its membrane to sweep food into it's tiny lil' mouth. aww.... and the euglena...it um...well, i know it has a flagellum (tail that it uses to propel itself around). not too sure, but i think it has a mouth. its membrane doesn't do too much other than keep the insides...um..inside. euglenas are lame anyway. :D
