they suck, we had to cancel our game in the middle of the second period because because we had 26 penalties and the all-stars head 28.
30 of those were because of the new rules

They have impacted the house leagues too.
I would think of them as a pendulum. They have swung far to the right, with time they will start to swing the other way.
At the moment, I agree... they suck!

I got 2 penalties the first game and I didn't even know what happened. It sucks right now while everyone is getting used to it. Just like the new NHL rules everyone has to adjust, but the penalties will calm down. In the end I think it will be good, just like the NHL good skaters will rule the game. Learn to skate better or get left behind.

It's worst in women's hockey, where we play far more of a stick game. You can't do *anything* anymore.
I was against the boards with someone the other night and the ref's all "watch your stick, watch your stick!!"
I'm all "what do you suggest I get to the puck with, my TONGUE?"
I'm hoping you're right about that pendulum, jujubah. I'm hatin' it.
