The only one that can put you on the map is you. It takes dedication, hard work, practice, practice, practice, more dedication and more hard work. Lots and lots of hard work.
Truth is, at 16 if your not already a very good local pro or at least dominating 'A' class rider then you've probably already missed your window. The factories are woo-ing kids at the mini-o's and seeing who can prove themselves at Loretta's. At 16 you just became eligible for an AMA pro license, if your not ready for that, how long before you think you are? At what age will that put you? Know of any first year factory shoes that were/are that age?
Stay in school, study hard and pay attention. Ride to your hearts content and get good at it. There are a lot of rewards to being a local, sportsman level racer. But it takes a ton of money to do that, so you'll need a good job, that job requires a good education.

The motorcycle could be a well train motorcycle, however I could endorse perhaps a one hundred twenty five or perhaps a two hundred, 225...The difficulty would be the suppension. The two hundred's such at KDX two hundred are fast motorcycles, well dimension at the side of a TTR 225 that is a enduro motorcycle and in addition has a well dimension. I been driving for close to 10 years and i'm 18 years historic, 183lbs and I trip the CR 250, so perhaps purchase that as a motorcycle to train on and get bigger, then ultimately move to one hundred twenty five, even larger if you'll be able to. Just do not over do your self.

You're 16 and your screen name is Jack-n-coke??? You need to be racing on a local circuit and dominate. Move to a national level and get noticed. You will not get a free ride until you prove your ability and win a ton of races. You need to put yourself out there and it will take your own dollars at first. You might pick up some small sponsers on the way and the more they chip in the less you put out. If you really have what it takes you shouldn't have a problem if you stay away from the jack-n-coke. Start contacting all of the known motocross sponsors and asking them for money. Soda companies, tire companies, wiseco, boyesen, ims, clarke, msr, monster, red bull, moose, ufo, preston petty (are they still in business?) mikuni, keihin, etc, etc, etc. If you don't make the calls or send the letters you won't get anywhere.

dude u gotta start out small, be patient. go around town and get small businesses to "sponsor" you...which means them help pay for your gas, fees, possibly parts...etc. then race hard...go to big races if possible and get recignized. after about 5 years of winning and moving up, we might see you gettin lapped by bubba on tv. haha just joshin, but ya jsut dont give up if your serious.
