Heck yea. The Honda Shadow VLX is a 583cc v-twin with a seat height of only 25.6 inches. It does weigh 450lbs, but you are not going to be bench pressing the thing. I've seen little women handle big bikes too. But, this would be a good bike for you to try. Go to a dealership and sit on as many bikes as you can before you decide which feels best.

You have to ask about the seat height on the bike. I bought a H.D. Hugger because it has a low seat height, so my feet are flat on the ground. I also ride my fiancee's Buell sometimes, but I gotta have my heeled boots on to do that and its not as comfortable or safe. Any dealership will let you sit on the bike to check it out. Good luck:)

Yes,
I'm 5'1 and ride an 1100 Classic Yamaha. There is a lowering kit that can be purchased and installed on almost any bike. It may diminish some of your cornering but that can be self corrected by how you take a curve.
Good luck & have fun

Depends on the size of the bike. However, It is still comfortable in riding bigger bikes unless you're not planning to make a full stop. :)

Hi,
Yes you can providing when you stand over the bike you can touch the ground. If the bike is to high it can cause you to fall over.
If you can't find a bike for your height try looking at a scooter.

I bought a unisex bike the next size down from adult. Not childrens, but junior or youth size. It is about 2-3 inches shorter than an adult bike. Go to a decent bike shop and they will help you with getting the proper bike for your size.

I don't know about crotch rockets but H-D has several thing to help you. First of all the make a sportster 1200cc low. It may be a low bike just for you. They also have kits which they will install on all their bikes to lower their bikes. One more thing - they have special low seats.
Ride On - Good Luck !!!

You can providing the bike is not too heavy, otherwise it will topple over easily and take you with it! I'm short too and that's what happened to me once when I tried riding my husband's big bike.

Almost any bike can be modified to fit the person.
I'm 6'4" and had to change the seat, handlebars and move the foot pegs forward to fit me.
In your case, a bike can be lowered, a lower seat can be installed, handlebars changed to pull back more, etc.
