One of the things I do is watch something really funny like a cartoon or such. Also you could read a really good book that you like that is not scary. These things will put the scary movie out of your head, And next time watch it earlier so you have time to get over the scary feeling. Also when my kids were small I would take then to scary movies because I didn't have a babysitter and all though the movie I would make suggestions to them about what great special effects those were and didn't that blood look real and no the lady won't die because she is the hero of the story and they never die. My girls never had bad dreams and they all love scary movies to this day and now I am slowly starting my grand children on our love of scary movies the same way. I really hope these work for you and you continue to like scary movies,

Blast some music for a while, it'll calm you down, and it'll drown out any noises that might sound creepy to you at the moment. Or watch a Disney movie. There's no way that could scare you (well, Ursula's pretty scary, but other than that...). So what movie was it anyways? I'm really curious now, I'd like to watch it! :)

No different videos - concentration on the only he further. Act like you in a lot of situations do... or particularly, a touch shyer/more effective intimate. that is going to teach him that you at the instantaneous are not in basic terms his "fm-pal". do not challenge about being scared. The more effective scared you get the more effective perfect - presented you ultimately end up in his lap and do not actually leap to the ceiling each and every time something takes position - a mild twitch is adequate. also, keep in mind that the action picture is a good excuse to huddle next to him or similar. it may help you you and make him experience good. do not make something it really is complicated (needs 2 fingers) to devour. something that you'll snatch right away - popcorn, chips, stuff like that. dodge alcohol because it may deliver the incorrect message. savor. =)

I could tell you that it's not real, but your spooked so you have to do what makes you feel better. Tomorrow you'll probably get a get a good laugh out it.
Some ideas:
Get a flashlight and keep it with you.
Make sure your doors & windows are locked.
Turn on and leave on as many lights as it takes to make you feel comfortable.

Yes, a little of both. Turn on tv and watch something on there, DR. PHIL or CSI or something. Just kinda hang out and do nothing and watch it. After a little bit you'll get tired and/or bored and forget why you didn't go up to bed.
I used to do that when I was a kid when I got afraid of movies.
Don't worry, its just a movie honey.

Just turn off all the lights and go up there. It's cool to be scared and we both know you are totally safe in your own house...cheap thrill. If there is a monster or a ghost pay attention and you will have a great story to tell for years.

Just to tell you, there all fakes and the person behind the mask is some old guy looking for cash.

Take the Bull by the horns. Run the movie backwards at high speed and no sound.....It will look totally silly. Then imitate the movie by going up the steps backward and into your bed so you won't have to go back down to watch a scary movie.

Just think about someone that you love and care for or even listen to some music, those ideas always help me leave a room and even go to sleep
