Okay, this is a weird question... i'm not breastfeeding or anything, but I got a serious question to ask. My right nipple is like inflamed and sort of swollen. It hurts like it's been scratched and it's really itchy... Its sticking out... and it's just really weird... it looks like little bubbles on it or something... anyone know what this could be?

well it could be an infected folicle , like hair or something, or a bug bite, or dead skin plugging a pore, if you are not pregnant or haven't been, than it's probably not mammary glands... but if it hutrs and bothers you, maybe quick check with the clinic just to be sure, good luck!

Go to the Doctor...you have somehow gotten an infection of some sort there. Could be a scratch...new bra irritation...friction...new detergent...something has irritated it and now it needs some medicine. Go sooner than later to see your Doctor!

Not sure if this could be it at all but my exema looks like little bubbles. I've never gotten it on my breasts but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Just a thought :)

First off, dont listen to the negative idiot who said breast cancer, that was pathetic!
I would put some Neosporin antibiotic ointment on it and see what happens, if it is not better go to your gyn.

personally to me it sounds like your duct in your nipple is infected... try nipple cream that pregnant women use for that sort pf thing, if that doesn't help.. go see the doctor!
