GOP led congress gave tax breaks to big oil companies probably worth billion times the amount wasted on crack moms. Not to mention billions in missmanaged funds in war on terror that's suppose to protect us from another 911. And they give Bill Gates better tax breaks than a school teacher. And you're complaining about crack moms? Dems won't have to spend too much to buy votes because everybody's wallet was sucked out by GOP and their corporate buddies. Dems still don't try to scare the pants off people trying to have peope vote for them. That's pretty respectable.

Rep. Pelosi must know most of the president's crimes are not partisan at all. They are crimes against Americans of all stripes, and against liberty and the Constitution.Just take the president's order to the National Security Administration to spy on Americans without first seeking a warrant. A federal judge in Detroit has already found that the president violated the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act--a felony--and the Fourth Amendment. That is an impeachable act, and one which Democrats and Republicans alike would punish if they understood the the implications of what the president has done. Given that the secret FISA court has only rejected a handful of warrant requests out of over 70,000 made since 1978, the only reason Bush could have decided to violate the law is that he is doing something so outrageous he knew the hand-picked, top-security-cleared FISA judges would have rejected it out of hand.Or take the signing statements. This president has used so-called "signing statements" to render inoperative over 800 laws or parts of laws passed by Congress, claiming that he has the authority to do so because he is a commander in chief in time of war (the so-called "War" on Terror).

RLP - you display your profound ignorance when you post questions like this one. The Republicans are outspending the Dems by a wide margin. If anyone can be accused of buying votes, its your party.
Secondly, very few people on welfare take the time to vote. If you had done your homework before posting your thoughtless note, you would have learned that the Republicans carried Ohio in 2004 because poor people in Cleveland and Cincinnati didn't bother to vote.
Send us some more well thought out questions to impress us with your intellect.

You could mimic the Republican Conservatives by offering Big Business free reign polluting the environment, or give the stockholders of foreign oil and defense portfolios an illegal and unjust war for profits. Lower taxes for the top 2% wealthiest americans, and force school teachers to supply basic necessities for students out of pocket!

Tell us the name of this mother and each of her ten kids and the absent father's name. Then tell us how the liberals contact all these people in order to tempt them to accept welfare for votes. You must know these people personally to know so much about them.

That is why I vote Republican. I am flat broke. I want my job shipped overseas by fat cat Republicans. Then, I want to be criticized for living off of welfare. I want Republicans to tell my sister she cannot have an abortion on the premise that they think all women are too stupid to make the right decision about their own bodies. I think the church or political group should tell me what to do with my body. Meanwhile, I want to stand up and be forced to pray in public school even though prayer is personal to me and don't feel like my religious life is really a Republicans business. I also think that I should vote Republican so Republicans can send other people's children to die in a foreign war. I want all wealthy Republicans to get tax cuts. Meanwhile, while I am on welfare, I want to pay as much tax as I possibly can. I want to be forced to walk to work and wave at all the
Republican oppressors drive by in their Lexus or Lincoln.
You make me sick.

One way is to promise to raise the minimum wage. People then believe they will have more money, but all it does is raise the prices of everything to match it and it provides more tax for the gov. You make more money you pay more taxes.
